It is a complete and organized scuba diving course for beginners. In other words, the course is designed to take you from a non-diver with no previous diving experience to a PADI-certified professional diver. The certification is also recognized worldwide and is valid for life, up to a maximum depth of 18 meters.

Open Water Course More Details

The open water diver course with us in Hurghada is the most popular diving course in the world. During this course, you will learn the most important diving skills. Therefore, these skills include both theoretical and practical training in open waters. For the theoretical training, you get the open water e-learning in native language and the video of the course. Also, the instructor will support you while watching the training videos on the Boat. Finally, in the practical part, the instructor will teach you a range of scuba diving skills. For example, dismantling and installing your equipment on the Boat. Moreover, you will practice these skills underwater with the help and support of one of our PADI instructors. In conclusion, you will have support and guidance from the coaches at every step during the course. After completion, you’ll enjoy the freedom to dive anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 18 meters! The required age for the course PADI Open Water Diver is 15 years.

PADI Open Water course Schedule:

The first day – after you arrive in Hurghada to “Diving Forever” our diving Center. One of the employees will welcome and invite you to see the diving center, such as the main office, the teaching and video room, the diving equipment room, the equipment drying room after diving, and then the swimming pool in which the diving training takes place on the first day of practice. Next, you will visit the boat to see where we put diving equipment, air tanks, and other staff. This you must know before starting the diving course, after that, you will sit with one of the academy coaches to fill out the paper form to register in the Open Water (Open Water Diver) license with medical form and the safety model. Then the instructor will give you a e-learning (Open Water) in native language and provide you with an explanation about the content of the book and how to deal with it. After all, in the especially teaching and video room, the instructor explains diving equipment (information about each piece of equipment), how to disassemble, install and wear diving equipment, and explain the theory about diving signals used under the water, then explain 24 diving exercises (skills) and how to perform these skills in the swimming pool first before diving into the open sea.

  • Installing, wearing, and removing equipment.
  • Pre-Dive Safety Check (BWRAF).
  • Entering deep water.
  • Check for surface buoyancy.
  • Switch between regulator and sprinkler.
  • Descent in five points, using buoyancy control to stop descent without touching the bottom.
  • Restore the regulator and empty it.
  • Take off the mask, put it back in, and empty it.
  • Air Cut Exercise and Alternative Air Source Use.
  • Ascent with the help of an alternate air source.
  • Breathing from a continuous flow regulator.
  • Neutral buoyancy, rising and descending with a low-pressure blower.
  • Climb through five points.
  • Emergency boarding with controlled swimming.
  • Inflate the BCD orally and heat for at least 60 seconds.
  • Swimming underwater without a mask.
  • Remove the weight system and put it back underwater.
  • Remove scuba gear and put it back underwater.
  • Remove scuba equipment and put it back on the roof.
  • Remove the weight system and return it to the roof.
  • Surface diving while descending from the surface and emptying the stalk using the forcefully inflating method upon reaching the surface.
  • Disconnect the low-pressure blower hose.
  • Re-install loose cylinder tape.
  • Shedding weights in an emergency.

Training on these skills takes place in the swimming pool on the first day of diving training (five dives) for the training takes five hours.

The second day – the morning of the second day on the boat you will install your equipment for diving with assisting your Instructor.

The instructor will explain some of the skills that will be performed in the open sea at a depth of 8 meters at the first dive site (the first dive) The duration of the dive ranges from an hour or a quarter to an hour.

After first diving, you will eat lunch and then continuing reading the e-learning “PADI Open Water” during the Boat moving to the second dive site, then you will practice the next skills (the second dive).

On the third day – the morning of the third day on the boat your instructor will explain the next skills which one you will be performed in the open sea at a depth of 12 meters during the first dive. The duration of the dive ranges from an hour or a quarter to an hour. After first diving, you will eat lunch and then continuing reading the e-learning “PADI Open Water” during the Boat moving to the second dive site. Next, in the second dive, you will practice the next skills and finally reaching a depth of 18 meters. It is the maximum depth for a Course Open Water Diver.

Room Number

For added security, we may ask you to tell us the room number of your hotel. This acts as a secret code between you and the driver. We may also ask for a phone number in case we need further communication with you.

Transportation Time

The Transportation time depends on the distance of your hotel and the number of guests. Nevertheless, this will be decided as soon as your reservation is confirmed. In the morning, pick-up is between 06:45 and 08:45. In the afternoon, drop-off is between 15:00 and 17:00.
