A majestic and beautiful wreck of a British merchant ship rests at the bottom of the waters of the Gulf of Suez at Shaab Ali. Built-in 1940, the British merchant ship SS Thistlegorm his destiny was to deliver supplies to the British military stationed in Africa, 5 miles off the coast of the Sinai Peninsula.
On October 6, it sank in the Red Sea during its fourth voyage was attacked by German bombers, which led to an explosion on board with accurate drops. The SS Thistlegorm had onboard motors, trucks, aircraft components, ammunition, armored vehicles, and others. The wreck offers access to richly equipped holds with loading overgrown with corals it’s length is over 120 meters.
The wreck of the SS Thistlegorm was discovered for recreational diving in the early 1990s. Since this time, SS Thistlegorm is one of the best diving sites.

One day onboard includes two dives with our dive guides. Lunch break between the dives.

For added security, we may ask you to tell us the room number of your hotel. This acts as a secret code between you and the driver. We may also ask for a phone number in case we need further communication with you.
Transportation time The Transportation time depends on the distance of your hotel and the number of guests. Nevertheless, this will be decided as soon as your reservation is confirmed. In the morning, pick-up is between 04:30 and 04:45. In the afternoon, drop-off is between 17:00 and 19:00.
You don’t need to pay online! The payment you can make upon arrival in our diving center. We accept credit cards (3.5% tax excluded) or cash (preferred currency is Euro).
